Systems Engineer

The systems engineer provides the business knowledge and technical skills to implement technical strategies, evaluate products and provide a superior level of technical support to our valued clients.

Essential Functions
  • Coordinates and/or performs maintenance to network hardware and operating systems and attached devices; includes investigation, analysis, recommendation, configuration, installation and testing of new network hardware and software.
  • Provides direct support in the day-to-day operations on network hardware and operating systems for client networks.
  • Provides technical consultation, training and support to client base.
  • Other Duties as Assigned.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
  • This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Regular attendance is required.
  • Frequent evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Client Support Specialist

The Client Support Specialist is our customer’s first point of contact. Answering all incoming customer phone calls. This position requires friendliness, patience and a willingness to help. Responsible for providing Level I and Level II troubleshooting and technical assistance. Offering IT Help Desk support to our customers.

Essential Functions

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Be the first responder and provide support when answering phone calls.
  • Provide direct support in the day-to-day operations of providing customers’ solutions to their IT problems.
  • Clearly document all calls and work performed.
  • Communicate complex technical issues to customers in an easy to understand manner.
  • Respond professionally and proficiently to all customers.
  • Perform customer callbacks as appropriate.
  • Proactively monitor all in-service systems and respond to major events appropriately.
  • Monitor new and open tickets in ticketing system and address as needed.
  • Resolve customer complaints of any type.
  • Maintain and supply timely updates for open trouble tickets in terms of accurate trouble-tracking and resolution information.
  • Must have good communication skills. With customers and interoffice communication.
  • Provide services after hours for on call emergency situations.
  • Other Duties as Assigned.
Competencies
  • Familiar with Windows Server and Workstation operating systems.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of hardware components and troubleshooting problems.
  • Apple iOS (preferred but not required).
  • Mac OS (preferred but not required).

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
